I’ve worked odd jobs from being builder technician, warehousing staff, a lot of customer service, and retail positions. I found that the corporate feeling was uncomfortable and cold. Being the mother of a special little boy, I needed more time. I needed to take care of my family from home.
When I started doing hair for friends and family; I decided to have a more hands-on approach to my career. I wanted a career in my first love of art, but I also wanted to help people. What better way than to combine the two by cosmetology! I remembered how it felt not looking your best. We should all be our best version of us! Looks have so much control of our self-esteem and personal performance. I became a professional stylist in the state of Kansas after completing training at the B Street International School of Hair in 2010. I wanted a way to take care of my family from home.
What is it that fuels each and every one of us in this world? For me, Being MarTíka. I have recently found such a sense of fulfillment in my own life to blog about what interests my part of the world. I talk about many things from saving money matters, current trends, my journey to living on a budget, getting healthier, beauty and fashion, mommy blogs, raising positive self-esteem, and more. I enjoy writing about my passions, what interests me, what interests other people, and sharing it with the world. With each passing day, Being MarTíka gains more followers, and with that, even more success.
